Renee Garvey is a former Angeleno who now resides in Kansas City where she makes every piece of jewelry herself. Her attention to each bead that is sewed on,  individually, with silk, is a testament to her experience as a costume designer and fine artist. 

Renee prefers natural materials, such as deerskin and semi-precious stones but also uses interesting elements such as "shed" antler pieces, fossilized ivory beads and ever diamonds. She incorporates touches of karat gold in addition to brass and sterling.
